Mission Statement

Bay Mountain Martial Arts is dedicated to providing an atmosphere where people of all ages can improve their mental, physical and spiritual well-being through training in the martial arts. We are committed to providing professional martial arts instruction that will help our students to become and maintain being strong, healthy members of society.

Originally, the martial arts were taught as a means of self-defense. With our two goals of self defense and constant never ending improvement, we will continue to improve our methods of instruction to provide the best that the martial arts training has to offer. We will be constantly challenging our students to become exceptional people mentally, physically and spiritually, consistent with what it means to be a martial artist.

We achieve excellent results in our program by approaching the Martial Arts in a conceptual manner. This can be seen very clearly through our training in the Wing Tsun and Escrima styles. Our H.I.I.T. program is also a great first step for any prospective martial artist, with realistic attack, defense, and counter attack covering the full spectrum of situations (striking, joint manipulation, weapons, & grappling).

We also have a comprehensive childrens program. In which martial arts techniques (and more importantly, lifeskills) are taught and developed in a healthy classroom environment. At our school we offer two age specific programs, our Dragons (7-12) Program and our Little Ninjas (4-6) Program.

Although, our School teaches various styles of martial arts, we are mindful that we are an American School . We will continue to show respect to our ancient roots, but we will also incorporate training methods that are effective from other traditional and non-traditional approaches. This is in order to better prepare our students for today's world.
